Public rides
Boarding 10 minutes before departure. Advance booking is requested up to 7 days before the event. Reservations are binding. In the event of cancellation 4 working days or less before the booked date, we will charge 100% of the fare and the catering costs. Bad weather forecasts are no reason for cancellation of event rides. Prices per person, incl. VAT. Subject to change without notice. Cash and card payments are possible. For groups of more than 12 people, we waive the individual collection and will invoice the consumption. Invoices for consumption will only be issued for groups of 10 or more. Invoices are payable within 10 days.
In case of insufficient participation culinary or entertainment trips we reserve the right to cancel 5 days in advance. We always endeavour to offer the customer another enjoyable cruise as an alternative to avoid an otherwise necessary surcharge to cover expenses. All prices include the cost of the cruise. (excl. drinks).
Departure points
All public boat trips with culinary themed offers usually depart from Rapperswil and in a few cases from Lachen, Stäfa or Pfäffikon SZ.
Bookings
We can only provide our offer on the ship correctly if you book your participation in good time. Extraordinary "last minute" requests made later than 24 hours before departure we will try our best to accommodate, but cannot give any guarantee.
Culinary boat trips are open to all interested parties. We can arrange solo bookings for larger groups on request with another ship and will be very happy to provide a personalised quote for an exclusive private social cruise.
Pets
For hygienic reasons, we ask you not to bring pets on public rides.
Forces of nature
In the event of storms, fog, high water or ice formation, no guarantee can be given that the confirmed sailing times will be adhered to. Course ships always have priority in order to comply with the course times. Deviations from the planned mooring times must be accepted.
Epidemic/pandemic
If your event cannot take place due to an epidemic/pandemic, your event will be rescheduled to a later date of your choice free of charge. The event must take place within one year.
Gastronomy
For culinary cruises, Schifffahrtsbetrieb Hensa AG is usually solely responsible for organising the catering. No food or drinks can be brought on board.
Exclusive private social rides
We will be happy to advise you about our gastronomic offers, which are provided exclusively by Schifffahrtsbetrieb Hensa AG itself without any special agreement. For a tap fee of CHF 30.00 per 75cl bottle, we will be happy to serve you the wine, prosecco or champagne you have brought with you. For desserts brought along, you will be charged CHF 5.50 per place setting.
Provision
The extra ship is normally provided 10-15 minutes before the confirmed departure time at the relevant pier.
Performances
Musical performances on the open decks of the ships are no longer possible after 22:00. The outside loudspeakers may no longer be used from this time. Music and dancing are permitted after 10:00 p.m. in the rooms where windows and doors can be closed. The hirer of the vessel is responsible for compliance with these regulations.

Cancellation conditions on the part of the customer
The following conditions apply to cancellations of boat rentals:
- From signing of the order confirmation until 2 months before the booked date: 50% of the ship price
- Less than 2 months before the booked date: 70% of the fare
- 10 days before the booked date: 80% of the fare and the catering costs (excluding drinks)
- 9 days and less before the booked date: 100% of the fare and the catering costs (excluding drinks).
For your protection and our security, we ask you to communicate any cancellations to us in writing. Otherwise, a cancellation will not be considered as delivered.

Reservations
Only the lounge boat (free of charge for 1 to 8 persons) can be booked bindingly from Monday to Sunday from 3 hours. Minimum age of the liable driver is 20 years. In the low season (April/May and Sept/Oct), reservations can be made for 2 hours or more.
Reservations are not possible for pedalos, motorboats and rowing boats during the high season. However, as soon as you are in possession of a small boat, you may stay on the lake as long as you wish (until closing time according to the ticket office). At the end of the day, you will be charged for every half hour that has elapsed.
Groups
The regular hourly rates apply. Every hour that has elapsed will be charged.
Liability
Liability of the rental object is the responsibility of the tenant, who deposits an ID card with us as a deposit. With the rental of the rental object, the tenant enters into our AGbs. (see below). Note according to the receipt slip handed in at the time of rental.
